

This French 19th century walnut armchair was fully restored using wax finish and was upholstered with “fine line” fabric from Romo. Its pillow has been filled with feathers making it a very comfortable armchair.
This pair of French rosewood armchairs was purchased in the Ionian Island of Zakynthos. They were part of a private collection owned by a wealthy ship owner who used to buy his furniture from France and Italy. These pieces are a reflection of their period’s higher social and economical status.
These late 19th century French armchairs, which have been acquired in the oldest neighbourhood of Athens (Plaka), have fully been restored. They have been upholstered with an initial cotton cover and the wood has a patinated finish. They can further been upholstered with Romo Linen from Altea Furniture’s standard fabric collection (at no extra cost to the client) or upholstery can be customised according to demand (COM). They can be matched with an identical sofa from the same time period.
A pair of reproduced Louis XV style walnut armchairs. Both have been sandblasted and then varnished with acrylic dead flat finish. These techniques show the natural colour of the wood thus reflecting the primary state of this piece.
